The moment we found out we won!

Our acceptance speech. Sorry Dave Jarrett, Brandon Kahn, and Sofia Price for not mentioning you. It was all a bit of a blur up there, you know we love you!

Small Blurb on our win/Speech!

Small Blurb on our win/Speech!

On Sunday March 29th myself and Rob Laity attended the Empire Magazine Movie Awards 2015. To cut a long story short it was a great night,  where we were just a stones throw away from one of our all time favourite directors - Christopher Nolan. Just being in the same room as him was incredible. We were also in the presence of (get ready for it, name drop time)  Simon Pegg, Andy Serkis, Ralph Finnes, Freddie Highmore, Cast of Game of Thrones, Mark Strong, Jonathan Ross, Jane Goldman, Jason Isaacs, Henry Cavill, Jessica Chastain,  half of the Inbetweeners, Peter Capaldi, Paul King, Karen Gillan, Hayley Attwell, Daniel Radcliffe, James Mcavoy, James Nesbitt and a load more that I can't quite remember . So yeah, safe to say it was not your typical Sunday Evening.

On behalf of myself and Rob, a massive thanks goes to all those involved with the making of the film too : Mark Breeze, Jamie Long, Hugh Blackwood, Natalie Gardner, Dave Jarrett, Leonora Whitehouse. Sofia Price and Brutus the Pug. Couldn't have done it without you.

I would also like to thank everyone at Empire Magazine and Jamesons UK for not only holding the competition, but for inviting us to the ceremony, and looking after us during our stay.

New Music Video and Future Kickstarter

Hey guys/gals,

It's all go here at betterfeelingfilms. We are currently in the pre production stages of our new music video. I won't give to many details only that It's unlike anything we have done thus far, and think it will be something really special. You won't have to wait to long to see it, as the bands single/e.p (which is awesome) is expected to hit mid March.

This is my life right now!

We are also getting ready to launch a Kickstarter for the third Powerless episode, so keep your eyes peeled for that in the next few weeks as well.

Concept artwork for the next episode!

Anyway, I have a LOT of 'things' to make and do. See you soon,

Ollie

Welcome

Hello and Welcome to the new and improved Betterfeelingfilms Website.

2014 was a pretty busy year for us. We produced four music videos for the likes of BishopBurn Down RydellSylosis and The Prodigy. Remade Ghostbusters and Jurassic Park - using a whole heap of silly wigs, cardboard, gaffer tape and plasticine. On top of all that a re-release of our Powerless Christmas episode complete with new effects, music, and colour grade.

2015 has already proved to be a busy year for us. On January 12th our video for The Prodigy  was released and as of this moment has gained nearly 6 million hits between youtube and Vevo. We have also entered our Ghostbusters film to the Empire Magazine Done in 60 seconds competition (So proton streams crossed on that front). We have a lot more planned for the rest of the year.  More Powerless, More DIY Remakes (I promise to finish Jurassic Park first) several music videos and not to mention our first Comicbook/Graphic Novel.

Anyway, back to the new site...

This blog will be used to post all manor of stuff including news - what we are up to, what we plan to do. Mini essays documenting the behind the scenes of our various projects. And random crap that we find interesting, relevant and/or amusing.

As for the rest of the site, I have tried to make it fairly user friendly with tabs for Powerless, DIY movies, and Music Videos. Each one containing pages for each film/video as well as additional making of videos, Bloopers, pictures, posters, and all that good shit.

Anyway, that's all for now. In the mean time bookmark this page, add us on facebook, follow us on Instagram/twitter and subscribe to us on youtube becasue 2015 is gonna be one hell of a busy year!

Laters,
Ollie
